As we approach the end of another year, I wanted to take this opportunity to reflect on the past 12 months and express my gratitude to DMRs clients, employees, and nurse analysts who have supported us along the way.
Our Response to Question 2 of the supplementary consultation
DMR Collation’s has responded today to Question 2 of Department of Health and Social Care Consultation “Fixed recoverable costs in lower damages clinical negligence claims – a supplementary consultation on disbursements” which has been reopened today for additional submissions until 22 December 2023 due to an error in the original online survey.
Cyber Essentials Certification
DMR Collation has been granted Cyber Essentials certification, adding to its existing ISO 9001 and 27001 accreditations. Cyber Essentials is a government-backed scheme that helps organisations protect themselves from cyber threats, and certification involves an independent assessment of an organisation’s security measures.
Our Response to Supplementary Consultation on LDFRC 2023
The 2022 consultation on Lower Damages Fixed Recoverable Costs (LDFRC) did not cover the recoverability of disbursements in detail. The supplementary consultation on LDFRC is open until 27 October 2023 which deals with the recoverability of disbursements including expert reports and ATE premiums.

ISO 9001 and 27001 Reaccreditation
DMR Collation are please to announce that we have passed our 3 year re-accreditation with the British Assessment Bureau for ISO 9001 in Quality Management System and ISO 27001 in Information Security Management. Continued achievement of these two Standards demonstrate to our clients that DMR Collation operate secure working practices and a consistently high standard of work.

Having attended St Johns Chambers’ insightful webinar today on strategies for successful litigation in clinical negligence and personal injury cases, it got us thinking about exactly how our collated sets of medical records are navigated by the end user, whether that be lawyers, barristers, medico-legal experts, the parties, or the courts themselves.

In 2021 DMR Collation became PAGE accredited. For those of you who are unfamiliar with PAGE its acronym stands for the Pagination Accredited Group of Experts.
Missing Records Reviews, A Time and Cost Saving Tool
There’s nothing more frustrating than instructing your medicolegal expert, waiting on your expert’s availability to examine the Claimant, then realising, after the expert’s review of the records that crucial records are missing from disclosure and without these records, the report cannot be finalised.
